Naimah Zulmadelle Pétigny (she/her) is a Black feminist scholar, dancer, poet, and abolitionist educator, born and raised in Northampton, MA. She lives and works in Providence and holds the Shiller Family Assistant Professorship in Race in Art and Design @ RISD (Rhode Island School of Design), in the Department of Literary Arts and Studies.
